like a skip your first class of the day and only go to your night class then spend the rest of your time cleaning the house and doing homework you should have already done kind of day. yep, that sounds about right.

today is also the day one of my friends embarks on a journey that he is beyond excited for and i am so proud of him for doing. i am serious when i say that the first day i met him, the marines, snipers and how he knew this is what he was going to do when he was old enough was the focal point of our conversation. nearly 8 years later, he’s finally taking the steps to fulfill what he said he was going to do and i couldn’t be any more thrilled for him. so joey, kick some ass at boot camp & i am so excited to see you in february as an official member of the united states marine corp!

So it was my sister’s birthday yesterday and while it was all fun and dandy, it left the house all dirty and gross. Since her godparents/ our aunt and uncle didn’t come yesterday, they’re coming today to see her and no doubt give her a gift. Since they only have boys, my aunt loves to spoil her. So of course my mom has asked that we make sure the kitchen, the living room & the bathroom are clean. Beyond easy task, right?

No.

My sisters seriously suck at cleaning. I get that everyone hates to clean, vacuuming is the devil to me, but seriously they’re just really bad at cleaning. Like a crazed monkey does better than they do. I had to stop on sister before she ruined a whole load of new clothes and another before she set the whole damn place on fire. I will be beyond happy when they’re back and school and only have to deal with one of them for almost the whole day.

currently cleaning the house like the bamf that i am. mostly thanks to my mom whining that we haven’t cleaned at all this week and i wanted to shut her up & secondly since megan is coming over to “sleep over” after the harry potter premiere. my mom forgets that megan doesn’t give a crap if my room looks like world war 3 just happened in there, thus the reason why she is one of my best friends. anyways, so insanely excited for the midnight showing in less than 12 hours! i will be a glass case of emotions, totally going to cry and i’ll be forced to steal some of tawnya’s tissues since i’m too forgetful to bring my own. is anyone else going?
